The upcoming solo exhibition, titled "Works from the Wild Places," presents a compelling reflection of my artistic journey over the past decade, inspired by my travels through the breathtaking landscapes of East Africa, particularly in Kenya and Tanzania. This body of work not only celebrates the captivating beauty of the region but also serves as a tribute to the rich cultural and natural heritage that permeates these extraordinary environments.

Over the years, I have immersed myself in the vibrant ecosystems and diverse wildlife of East Africa, allowing these experiences to influence my artistic practice profoundly. The exhibition features a variety of traditional processes, including printmaking, etching, and charcoal landscapes, each meticulously crafted to evoke the essence of the wild places I have encountered. Through these works, I aim to convey the mesmerising interplay of light and shadow, and the physicality of the landscape that defines this remarkable part of the world.

"Works from the Wild Places" invites viewers to embark on a visual journey through East Africa, reflecting not only on the natural beauty that inspired my creations but also on the importance of preserving these fragile ecosystems for future generations. It is my hope that this exhibition resonates with audiences and sparks a deeper appreciation for the wonders of nature and the enduring power of art to connect us to the world around us.
